History
In 1979 the company Vicon Polyester B.V. started in Emmen with the SMC production and hot pressing. The products were mainly parts for the parent company Vicon, a manufacturer of agricultural machinery. In the beginning of the eighties, the injection moulding technology was introduced. The company started production for third parties. In 1989 the company was taken over by the Wientjes group in Roden. In the following years the company concentrated on the subcontractor activities. In 2005 the company was taken over by the VDL Groep in Eindhoven.
