The objective of VDL Wientjes Emmen is long-term continuity to provide the greatest possible security to employees, financiers, customers and suppliers. This objective can be achieved by generating sufficient return each year. In improving the return and results, a number of core point and principles are taken into account.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is high on the agenda at VDL Wientjes Emmen B.V. The goal of ensuring a sustainable society enjoys our permanent attention.
VDL Wientjes Emmen recognises the importance of offering employees a safe and healthy working environment, with pleasant working conditions.
In undertaking all its activities, environmental protection measures are taken. Waste from the injection moulding process is for example ground and reused. The waste from the SMC production and compression process is collected and in ground form reused in the cement industry (100% recycling).
The company is constantly involved in the search for possibilities to reduce energy consumption.
The result of the sustainibility survey by Ecovadis is a silver medal.
